Went out to celebrate my friends wedding anniversary as they raved about the band there, so I went. I did not hear the waitress name I can only describe her as younger staff with braids light skin tone. So she became irate because I had questions about the drink I wanted. She was confrontational as she told me, “You must have not ever been out near the strip before”, and” if you wanted a drink you liked you should go home and make it”. I Wanted a peaceful nite for my friends I ate this one up , when I should have asked for the manager. The crowd was mature and engaging , which brings me to the band… great music sound and singing old and new school. Will return next Vegas trip hopefully the service will improve.

Love the decor of the place. Great size, apparently they get crowded during brunch hours on the weekend. I went on a Thurs and service was wonderful. Promise makes great drinks and very nice. They had a spades and domino tournament. I had their chicken wings, they were just ok to me. Nothing special. Great place to chill, eat, and enjoy hookah if you like.

For our group there for the Birthday celebration, the Grits were disgusting I am sorry, I have to be honest. Who in the sand hedrins put milk in Grits? People always trying to be different, leave regular Grits alone... and thr waffles were nasty too. The cat fish is real catfish FIRE!! French toast good too! Loved the catfish!! Love the atmosphere, love the music, love the service, LOVE EVERYTHING!!! That was my first time visiting too. Will come back ☺️☺️

If you plan on going, book ahead to avoid the wait! 🛑 Security & Safety – They take security very seriously, with thorough bag checks and body scans. While this might seem intense for a brunch spot, it definitely adds peace of mind, knowing the environment is safe. ⏳ The Wait & Vibe – After waiting an hour to be seated, we quickly realized why people didn’t want to leave—the music was bumping, and the whole place felt like a day party. Guests were dancing, singing along, and just enjoying the energy. While the wait time could be frustrating, the overall vibe kept us entertained. The Food & Drinks 🍳 Breakfast Skillet with Catfish & Chicken Wings – The star of the meal! Everything was perfectly seasoned, and the proteins were cooked just right. The catfish was crispy and flavorful, and the chicken wings had great seasoning—no complaints here! 🍞 French Toast – Tasted great, but it didn’t come with syrup, which was a little disappointing. Still, the texture was spot-on, and it had a nice sweetness to it. 🍉 Fresh Fruit – A nice, refreshing touch to balance out the meal. Everything tasted fresh and was a good complement to the heavier dishes. 🍍 Pineapple Juice – Delicious! If you’re a fan of fresh, tropical flavours, this juice is a must-try. Final Thoughts 🔥 Mariposa is more than just a brunch spot—it’s a full-on experience. The music, dancing, and high-energy crowd make it a perfect place for a fun weekend outing. The food was on point, the drinks were great, and the atmosphere was unmatched. Would we go back? Absolutely! But next time, we’re making a reservation first. Great music , chicken and shrimp was a little salty.. ease up a bit ! French toast was great and fish and grits was delicious.. very live crowd. Music was great day party give . I will go back !
